If you are interested in speaking at an upcoming Chamber AIP BRT meeting please provide us with as much information as available.
Overview of the Speaker's Role and Responsibilities:Speaking at the AIP BRT monthly meeting is a teaching opportunity - it is a chance for individuals who are experts in their field to share their knowledge with AIP BRT members. Speakers are invited by the AIP BRT Monthly Meeting Chair, Brice Jackson, Connections Chiropractic Center in consultation with the Executive Committee --we take many factors into account when inviting someone to speak, such as the general relevance of their subject matter, the appropriateness of subject matter to time of year, and general interest. Periodic member surveys are used to compile a list of topics most widely appealing to the entire group, and the Executive Committee is always interested in hearing suggestions from our members for topics and/or Speakers. The ultimate goal is to be of service to AIP BRT members, not just by providing networking opportunities but also by creating opportunities for personal growth and education.
As the Speaker's role is educational in nature, she or he may prepare handouts that are related to the topic under discussion. However, direct promotion of oneself or one's business is strongly discouraged during the course of a Speaker's presentation. Of course, networking following the meeting is always appropriate and it is quite possible that new business connections may be made.
Speaker selection is at the sole discretion of the Chamber AIP BRT Executive Committee.
