Chamber Scholarship Program
Eligibility
- The scholarship recipient's enterprise must be a Chamber member in good standing.
- The scholarship recipient must be a first time attendee of the conference.
- Only completed applications received by 5 PM on Friday, January 14th, 2011 will be considered. Resumes are not necessary.
- A maximum of one scholarship will be awarded per member enterprise.
Selection Process
- The Scholarship Committee will review completed applications and make its decision based on the applicant's assertion of personal and professional development goals, their organization's development resources, and how the conference aligns with reaching their objectives.
- There will be a minimum of four scholarships awarded.
- All applicants will be notified of the committee's decision by email no later than January 31, 2010.
- Winners will be contacted and provided registration instructions.
Scholarship Conditions
- If a recipient is unable to attend the conference or leaves the enterprise prior to the conference, the scholarship willbe given to an alternate individual selected by the Scholarship Committee. This scholarship is awarded to an individual, not the enterprise.
- There will be no actual exchange of funds. The scholarship covers the registration fee. Transportation to and from the conference, hotel, additional meals, incidentals, etc., are the responsibility of the scholarship winner.
- All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final.
Chamber Details
The Quadruplicity Conference takes place on February 10, 2011 at the Doubletree Hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia.
