Digico Multimedia, Technology & Advertising Solutions recently announced the creation of its subsidiary SpotLight Productions. Spotlight Productions offers professional videography for special events including weddings, live theater, ballets, recitals, family reunions and any event important enough to preserve digitally.
“Digico creates advertising and high-end video production,” said Digico co-founder and producer Ryan Berry. “We kept getting calls to shoot musicals or weddings and saw a need we could help meet.”
SpotLight exists as its own entity with a separate staff and separate branding. Digico hired local videographer Dave Stoops to oversee the day-to-day operations of SpotLight.
“I’m excited to be a part of this new Digico venture,” Stoops said. “There’s a market out there for event sales looking for high-end video production at an affordable per unit cost, and I think we’re their best solution,” Stoops said. SpotLight already has some wedding shoots booked and has produced a DVD version of a new Valley musical.
