Chamber Welcomes New Charlottesville City Manager

Just three weeks into his new job as Charlottesville City Manager, Dr. Tarron Richardson visited the Chamber for a meet & greet with members during our Economic & Government Affairs Committee meeting June 4.

We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Richardson with a large turnout.

"The purpose of this meeting was to introduce Dr. Richardson to members of the business community and begin building relationships for a variety of collaborative projects," said Chamber President Elizabeth Cromwell.

Attendees shared their experiences with specific zoning and regulatory issues, as well as their longer-term visions and ideas for the community. One member described the meeting as "a breath of fresh air."
