Donate Computer Equipment to Tech for Troops
The Defense Affairs Committee (DAC) of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce will be partnering with Chamber member Signature Science, LLC., to collect working and non-working laptops with power adapters, desktop computers, working flat monitors (no CRTs), IPADs & tablets, file servers and networking equipment, Cat5 & Cat6 Wiring, keyboards, mouses, and smartphones for donation to Tech for Troops.
Tech for Troops is a national non-partisan veteran’s organization bridging the digital divide. Headquartered in Richmond, it provides in-need veterans and children of veterans with free, refurbished computers and opportunities to partner with businesses that provide training and networking experiences.
Drop off items at the Chamber’s DAC office at the UVA Research Park from 10 AM- 2 PM the week of November 30-December 4th. For more information, contact dac@cvillechamber.com.
