Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, located in Charlottesville, VA, is a 176-bed facility that focuses on consistently setting the standard for clinical quality and personalized healthcare services. Since our founding more than 100 years ago, Martha Jefferson has constantly evolved to meet the diverse healthcare needs of patients, and we are committed to delivering a distinctive combination of cutting-edge technology along with our Caring Tradition, the promise of personalized care tailored to the needs of each individual patient.

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital has served our community for over 100 years. Our tradition of caring sets Martha Jefferson apart in our community.
What was your first job?
I was a clerk for USDA, Farmers Home Administration
What do you believe is most important for the future of our region?
Partnerships with current business and growth for future business partners.
What is one of your favorite nonprofits to volunteer with or support, and why is it important to you?
I love animals so I always support local animal shelters. I also have a heart for food banks so I'm supportive of both local food banks and food banks in my home town in TN.
How do you like to spend your days off?
Spending time gardening or anything outdoors.
What is your favorite quote or piece of advice?
Your whole life comes alive when you have the courage to follow your dreams, to create change and to do what is right over what is easy!
