Chamber Spotlight: Erica Gregory, Three Cheers Marketing

What does your organization do?
Three Cheers Marketing is a woman-owned, full service marketing agency. We help businesses and organizations create, streamline and execute their marketing strategy.
What do you like about being a Chamber member?
I love being part of the robust business community in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas.
What is unique about your organization and the work you do in our community?
Our agency is unique in that we meet each client where they are and give them unique support in those places. We offer everything from branding, to content creation, to social media management, to PR. We are a small but mighty team!
What was your first job?
I worked for my dad over the summers throughout high school. He designs and sells headstones - so lots of time spent in cemeteries and rock quarries!
How did you choose the field you're in?
I started in the content creation side of marketing because I loved the creativity it provided. But I quickly learned that without strategy, the content doesn't do much, so I opened my eyes to the full scope of marketing. The mix of analytics AND creativity is truly right where I belong.
Who or what has inspired you most in your career?
In terms of my business, I love creating something that allows me to be creative, meet awesome people and spend time with my kids. Our clients are the biggest inspirations, however. I love being able to help people grow businesses of their own.
What is your most memorable experience in your career?
As an intern for the Indiana Pacers in 2013, I was able to interview Lebron James in the locker room after each game in the Eastern Conference Finals.
What's your favorite thing about the Charlottesville area?
Avid wine drinker, so it doesn't hurt being near lots of great wineries!
How do you like to spend your days off?
I love being with my kids and my husband!
