What does your organization do?
We help service-based businesses keep their finances organized. Our services include setting up QuickBooks Online, cleaning up existing accounts, and handling monthly bookkeeping. This includes tracking transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and providing clear financial reports to help business owners make informed decisions
What's the most important thing you want people to know about your organization?
The most important thing Chamber of Commerce members should know about Jansen Bookkeeping is that I do more than just track numbers, we take an educational approach, making financial reports easy to understand so business owners can make informed decisions, create budgets, and keep their businesses on the right track. Our goal is to empower entrepreneurs with the financial clarity they need to succeed!
What makes your organization different from others like it?
Owner Meghann Jansen is a former teacher turned bookkeeper, so Jansen Bookkeeping does more than just track your numbers—they help their clients understand them. Each month, they teach you how to use your financial reports to make smart decisions, create a budget, and grow your business with confidence.
What is one thing you are most excited for your organization to do in the future?
I’m really excited for Jansen Bookkeeping to become more involved in the Charlottesville community. Connecting with local entrepreneurs, supporting small businesses, and building relationships through networking events and community involvement is something I’m truly passionate about. I look forward to growing alongside this amazing business community and finding ways to contribute my expertise to help others succeed!
What has been your favorite Chamber event?
I’ve attended the Rising Pros coffee networking events, happy hours, and the Business Women's Round Table meetings. They were all great, but I especially enjoy the BWRT events!
Would you recommend Chamber membership to others?
Yes, I would definitely recommend chamber membership to others. It’s a great group, a great way to get involved in the community, and an amazing opportunity for networking.
