Best Practices in Leadership Workshop with Cville SHRM

December 7, 2022

You can become an even more successful leader at your organization if you enhance your skills around the key leadership practices that have been proven to make the difference. Authors such as Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner have done extensive research to help discover what common traits leaders share when they are at their personal best.

This discussion-based session leverages research and conclusions from these authors among others, as well as Leslie Andrus’ own observations and discoveries through her over 20 years supporting and leading leadership development and team building within area organizations.

Presenter: Leslie Andrus, SHRM-SCP, SWP, Director of Learning and Development at Seraphic Group, Inc

Leslie has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) and Talent Development, helping to support and/or lead the HR or learning function at LexisNexis, WorldStrides, UVA, and now the Seraphic Group. She was hired by Seraphic Group in 2018 as Director of Human Resources with the goal of building the HR function at the growing company. She is now the Director of Learning and Development at Seraphic, building out that function as a next step in the evolution of the company.  She has a master’s degree from the University of Virginia and is certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, and a HCI certified Strategic Workforce Planning professional.
